Canned 8.17.23 - purchased from the brewery beer store for about $2.50
Poured at fridge temp into an unfortunate glass.
Pours clean and clear pale yellow with 2F loose head that trailed some woodland camo-esque pattern lacing before settling into a loose cap and ring. 4
Hops balance is quite nice, loads of tropical fruitiness without being cloying or oversweet. No note of malts or cereal grains, even after letting it warm a bit, but it does the tropical hops well. 4
Very clean and sharp, pleasantly hop forward. Somewhere in the 30-40 IBU range if I had to guess. After that hoppy beginning the grains come out to play, grainy and grassy. 4
Lightly dry, and very clean on the palate. Moderate carbo bite and only a soft lingering hop finish. 3.75
Overall a delightful and pleasant pilsner I was not expecting to be anything outside of 'decent' this was very good and nearly an even 4.0 of a beer. Well done RR crew! I'll be back for many more of this one, especially while its fresh. 4
