Thick beige head. Sweet, burnt dark coffee aroma. Other malt notes are absent in aroma. Weak in body, a lacking the characteristic silky oat mouthfeel. Hop bitterness and roasted barley bitterness comes through too sharply leaving the overall balance askew. This is not a particularly good oatmeal stout. Weak yet rough on the palette.
