I had this on tap at the Bekeerde Suster in Amsterdam. It is one of the seasonals and is brewed end of year/fall season.
Appearance is dark brown with some amber hues and a thin head, which sticks to the glass.
Smell is malty and caramellic with some dark chocolate notes. It is kind of sweet and smells a little like dark chocolate mousse.
Taste is sweet and malty with definate dark malt notes, which give the beer a nice depth and roast. There is some candy sugar and malt bitter coffee taste. The sweetness matches the beerstyle, but inhibits the drinkability a bit.
Aftertaste is lingering malt bitter and sweet.
