This Best Bitter has been named after the nickname of Lowestoft Town Football Club as Green Jacks new flagship brewery is opposite Lowestoft’s Crown Meadow stadium.
Half-pint, gravity fed at the 36th CAMRA Cotswold Beer Festival 21st July 2012.
Copper body with a slight haze: off-white head of soft bubbles.
The nose and taste were interwoven: malty molasses and fruity hops blending together well to produce a fine tasting and aromatic premium bitter that deserved more attention, but I was on a mission and could only allocate the brew a half (so many more to sample).
