It pours a nice golden color with a hint of amber to it. The smell is clearly strawberry with not much of anything else coming through. The flavor is of fresh strawberry with a malt background flavor. The feel is on the light side to me. Overall a easy to drink fruit flavored beer.

Spoetzl Brewery "Shiner Strawberry Blonde"
12 fl. oz brown glass bottle, coded "033 17" and sampled on 25 April 2017
$1.99 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ
Look: Clear golden body beneath a short head of bright white. Average head retention and lacing.
Smell: Clear strawberry in the aroma. It's brewed with real strawberries and "natural flavor".
Taste: A pleasant blend of slightly tart & slightly sweet strawberries wrapped in a softy grainy golden malt base. Moderately bitter but still dry in the finish.
Feel: Medium-light in body and crisp.
Overall: A refreshing and easy to drink fruit beer that's balanced across the board.

S: very big strawberry aroma that drowns out most of the beer aromas.
L: brilliant amber with a slight pink tint under a 1/2" cream colored foam cap with moderate to poor retention. Streams of bubbles rapidly rise to the surface.
T: Like the aromas, the flavor starts with big strawberry with some mild biscuit and medium to medium low bitterness in the background to remind you that this is a beer.
F: The body is medium to medium light and above average carbonation gives it a fizzy quality.
O: For my tastes it is too much like "alco-pop."
