Being from Texas, we know a thing or two about punishing temperatures. but we also know a thing or two about how to deal with them. That's why we brewed Shiner Cherry Limeade. The combination of sweet cherries and tangy limes results in 12 ounces of refreshment that tastes doubly good on those days when it hits triple digits.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 8/5/2019. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy red cherries, fruit skin/pits, limes, citrus peel/zest, cracker, white bread, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of cherries, limes, pale malts, and moderate earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy red cherries, fruit skin/pits, limes, citrus peel/zest, cracker, white bread, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy cherry, skin/pits, limes, citrus peel/zest, cracker, white bread, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice robustness and balance of cherries, limes, pale malts, and moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero fruity/yeasty notes present. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness, tart/tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, and moderately bready/grainy/sticky/acidic/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a delicious fruited pale lager. All around nice robustness and balance of cherries, limes, pale malts, and moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/tart/tangy/drying finish; flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Nice juicy/vibrant cherry/lime fruit showcase; with a clean pils malt backbone, and nice earthy hop presence/balance for the style. Zero residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of cherry and a touch of lime. Sweet, fake tasting cherry and lime.

Medium amber in color with a white head that dissipates quickly. Smells like gumdrops, which is to say fruity but artificial and hard to identify. A bit more cherry in the taste though it comes across as medicinal. Tart, not sweet, and rather too bitter in my opinion for what it's trying to suggest. Light bodied, clean.
