A sweet stout? This thing is drier than a popcorn fart!
A: Awesome label (part of the mad science collection). Black with a tan head, no retention or lacing.
S: Alcohol, fruit and a light coffee-like roastiness.
T: Molasses, peppery spice, light fruitiness and a coffee-like roasted astringency, warming alcohol, balanced bitterness.
M: Overly attenuated body with a dry, alcohol finish.
D: Boozy, without the flavour to back it up.

Bottle: Poured a dark black color ale with a large light brown bubbly head with minimal retention and no lacing. Aroma of blackberry syrup with some lingering sweetness is somewhat intriguing. Taste is an awful mix between some coffee, blackberry syrup and dry roasted malt. Body is about average with some spritzy carbonation that totally don't fit the style. I very rarely drain pour beer even when they are awful but this is just too much for me.
