A - poured from a growler into a weizen glass. It pours cloudy amber with a frothy white head. The head leaves wavy rings of lacing.

S - ripe banana, flowers, bubble gum and spice

T - malty banana flavor, hint of marmalade and a subtle spicy grain finish

M - medium body, medium carbonation, incredibly smooth, somewhat buttery and a semi-dry finish

D - one of the best beers I've had. The smell and taste are very unique. If only I had found this sooner.

Seems like BC is putting out a lot of great Hefes these days and the one from Taylors Crossing is right on the money. Lots of Banana esters with a nice clove like note to the finish. The beer is actually drier than a lot of Hefe's in BC. Wish this hefe was also in Yaletown but if you are in North Van try a pint.
