Solid offering. The fact everything was straight from the Hudson valley does add to the intrigue of the beer. Subtle maple and berry notes with an a great yeast flavor. No surprises since their trippel is one of the best offerings on shelves here

Unique beer created for Hudson Valley beer week. This is a maple smoked, rye tripel made with local honey. On tap only, poured from a 16 oz growler. Pours a deep gold color with a bit of quickly disapating head. Smells of rye and bread. Tastes a subtle smoke with a strong rye bite. The rye hides the honey that shows up as it warms, and melds in with the biscuity Belgian yeast. Almost like a honey bread. Love this beer. Reading about it scared me l, but tasting it is amazing
