Pours a foggy amber (surprise!). Flavor has a mild citrus tang to it and an overall leafy and earthy thing. Brings a nice level of complexity to it, but nothing Earth-shattering. Gives a biting carbonation with a smooth liquid feel. This is a very nice beer that is a pleasure to drink. Quite tasty.

Straight from the tank into a growler on 3/21/07 with friends EPseja and Kenny. Sampled at between fridge and cellar temperature in a pint glass.
Appearance- Hazy and caramel red, this beer supports a fluffy, three finger head that pops and hisses downwards over several minutes. There is terrific lacing down the glass, consistent and spiderwebby.
Smell- Malty and very fresh, this has a solid nose for the style. A biscuity sweetness coincides with the malts, and I get a hint of Cascade hops... smells delicious.
Taste- A very nice blend of bread, caramel malt, and a good, long hop bitterness in the finish. At the brewery, we couldn't stop talking about how satisfying and quenching this is... what great balance.
Mouthfeel/Drinkability- While just a bit rough in the mouth right out of the tank, a day later this is smoother from the growler at this temperature. Prickly in the beginning, it improves soon after. These go down real easy, and even after three there's room for plenty more. One of the brewery's finest offerings to date, without a doubt.
