On tap at the brewery.
A good looking black bodied stout with a nice cap of tan foam. Head soon settles down, decent lacing remains. Aroma is roasty and bitter, with chocolate and coffee and a light sweetness.
Basic but tasty; nice roasted malt component, moderate sweetness, somewhat creamy, espresso notes and oats pop out pretty well. Nice flavor overall but a bit restrained and lacking complexity.
Body is a little light for the style, carbonation is about average. Feels smooth but thin. Lingering finish both sweet and bitter. A pretty good stout overall, far from perfect, but well made and containing some pleasing flavors.

Pitch black body with a frothy dark brown head that fades leaving a film around the glass. Nice sticky brown lacing on the glass.
Chocolate, roasted coffee, caramel and brown sugar.
Chocolate, dry and dark roasted coffee, caramel, burnt toast and a slight, it could be my imagination - mint taste at the end. For 8% abv. there isn't a hint of alcohol.
Smooth, medium body and lightly carbonated. No alcohol heat. Something seems missing.
The highlight of this brew is the appearance. The mouth feel is a little lacking, can't figure it out. For a 8 percenter this is a dangerous brew. I'm almost polishing off my Growler, not sure if it will be a good idea.
