Brewed for Sacramento Beer Week, this beer has a strong citrus nose from the use of Equinox hops, orange and lemon peel and Japanese yuzu juice. Sacramentale finishes clean and dry from the use of flaked rice, a staple grain grown in the Sacramento Valley.

App: frothy white head, clear yellow
Smell: a little of the Equinox hops but not much. Smells fresh.
Taste: light and malty. Very smooth and refreshing. Low impact hopwise, but pretty lovely little flavor. Could drink quite a lot of it.
Mouthfeel: light, soft, creamy, moderate carbonation, mildly dry finish. Very nice.
Overall: this is a fine session beer. Well crafted, good feel and maltiness. Could add some wow factor with more Equinox late hopping, but I'm not really complaining.

On tap at PreFunk. One of the mellowest pale ales I’ve had. Very malty, grassy. Beautiful creamy head. Could pass for a helles/Dortmunder or golden ale/blonde.
