Both the kolsch and raspberry (kolsch) ale are brewed using kolsch yeast. A small batch system is used and a walk-in cooler allows lagering at cool temperatures. Kolsch is not filtered and somewhat hazy. The current batch has been on about three weeks. At the time I visited a third beer - their Red Ale was also on tap. A covered biergarden ajoining the old hilltop two story farm house is perfect for enjoying wine, beer and good food with friends.
