Pours a pale transparent gold colour, with steady bead. Head is white, small bubbles but not thick. Thin lacing too. OK, looks like a decent enough lager.

Smells of nothing in particular. Slight grain notes with light touch of puffed rice, and light apple-esque fermentation byproduct. Pretty meh; toned down everywhere.

Taste is also quite grainy: plenty of cereal notes with barley and some earthier, spicier grain towards the back. Hint of fennel maybe and slightly nutty and dry on the back. Surprising depth to the grain, but it's still all grain and there needs to be something more interesting and exciting there to balance and provide a bit of contrast.

Bit fizzy and slightly dry at the back. Ultimately thin though.

Not bad, could use some more body to solidify it, and some more flavour balance.

Pours a hazed straw yellow colour, that lets the light in but then pollutes it. Head is fine, but filmy and white in colour. Slightly sudsy, bubbly inconsistent lace. Overall, it doesn't look that good.

Slightly grainy on the nose, almost a corny adjunct character, along with a whiff of DMS veggie character to it, steamed green beans in particular. It's not particularly appealing.

Taste is similar, but crisper, softer and less harsh than I expected. Light grain character gives a mealy front, with a soft vegetative greenness on the back which cuts through it slightly. Mouthfeel is crisp, although a little spiky with carbonation.

Overall, this is not a very exciting beer. And even if it's light, crisp and water-like in it's drinkability, it's also exceptionally dull.

This pours a very pale straw colour. Clear. Absolutely no head retention.

Sweet honey malts dominate the nose. A bit of grassiness behind that. Not a lot to it.

Not a lot to the palate but it's clean enough. Sweet malts.

A little cloying.

Just another average lager.

Looks OK - nice head with a bit that lasts. Smells.. Smells off. Not great. Not happy. Not sure what's up with that. Sour.

Thankfully it doesn't taste sour.

There's weird flavor in the mouth... It's sweet and you get some malted milk ball. Including the dry bits of that.

Feel is OK and I wouldn't want to drink another. Ah well.

a) Wow.... really, really pale. Probably 1 Lovibond. Almost a pink blush. White, coarse head that falls quickly, and large bubbles. Looks like a softdrink.

s) Sweet, honeyish malt, hint of ginger. Grassy, slight rust. Later aroma of vinyl (?)

f) Honeysuckle soda water, with a late bitterness. Almost bipolar, with little malt/hop interplay for mine. Chalky.

m) Slippery, chalky, alkaline. Light.

d) Seems as close to an all-pale malt lager as you could get. No evidence of dextrins, head retention, colour. There is some bottle variation, with slightly improved balance between grain & hop, but altogether a disappointing offering.
