This very special Double White IPA was brewed in memory of Egypt Covington, as a tribute to her love and passion for life. Developed in collaboration with her friends and family, it includes some of her favorites… elderflower, passion fruit, and mango. Her smile would light up a room and we hope this beer does the same for you. Please enjoy with friends, loved ones, and strangers alike. Spread her kindness, share her message, and raise a glass to A Girl Named Egypt.

Bought this one to support the memory of Egypt and her search for justice. Pours a golden color with a foamy white head that lasts quite a while. Fruity of and taste. Medium carbonation. Creamy mouth feel. An excellent DIPA.

12 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lightly tart/tangy passion fruit, mango, melon, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, papaya, red apple, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, elderflower, coriander, clove, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, fruit, spices, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lightly tart/tangy passion fruit, mango, melon, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, papaya, red apple, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, elderflower, coriander, clove, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; and peppery yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart passion fruit, mango, melon, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, papaya, red apple, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, elderflower, coriander, clove, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, fruit, spices, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance; and minimal lingering hop/spice astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 9%. Overall this is an excellent White DIPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, fruit, spices, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV with the moderately bitter/spicy/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Great balance of juicy/dank/earthy hops, Belgian yeast, spices, fruit, and pale/wheat malts. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
