Tilted Earth is our Rotating IPA Series, an ode to the changing seasons with an IPA that changes every three months. New season, new beer! Our Winter 2018 release is a Hazy IPA. Flaked oats and wheat give this beer its pleasant haze, which our brewers balance with hefty additions of Citra, Mosaic and Mandarina Bavaria hops. These hops contribute bright citrus notes of grapefruit and tangerine together with tropical aromas of papaya and passion fruit. When the snow starts to fall, our hazy Winter IPA will ride out the storm with you.

A great tasting hazy ipa. A very nice odor and feel on the pallet. Just an all around great taste and easy to drink. Makes for one of my favorites.

Pours a hazy yellow with a white foam head that leaves behind plenty of lacing. Aroma is tropical fruits, bright citrus, and floral hops. Flavor is floral hops, citrus, and tropical fruits with some spicy notes. Begins sweet and finishes acidic. Has good carbonation.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 11/12/2018. Pours very hazy/cloudy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big mandarin orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this is an awesome NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish, awesome soft feel. Awesome Citra, Mosaic, Mandarina Bavaria profile. Very juicy and lightly dank/earthy hops; great wheat/oat/malt balance; mild residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Loved the hop profile as expected.
