Had on tap at the Union in Clarkston, Michigan on December 28, 2009. According to other sources, this one clocks in at 83 IBU's.
A: Poured a somewhat hazy orangish copper with a small, but nice head on it.
S: Lots of citrus and pine with only the slightest alcohol hints. A bit of sweetness from the malt, without too much caramel coming through.
T: Lots of citrus hops with some tropical fruits coming in as well. A bit of pine and resin in the aftertaste. Although the malt did not balance this one out--and I'm glad it didn't--I really appreciated how the sweeter-feeling tropical and citrus hops were balanced out by the pine element. Excellent taste all around.
M: Medium-bodied with a good amount of carbonation and no real alcohol bite.
D: Very, very drinkable. Glad this was one I had a full glass of rather than just a taster. My first beer from Arbor, and I was very pleased--in fact, I think my wife and I are going to head down there today during our extended holiday vacation.
