On tap at the Ann Arbor brewery on 12.28.2009.
Poured a somewhat-cloudy dark lemon with a decent head and lacing. The smell was a little bit of banana and clove, backed by some slightly-spicy rye. The taste was similar, with the weizen-esque yeast coming through, with a bit of rye in the background. The mouthfeel was fairly creamy with little to no alcohol bite and moderate carbonation. Drinkability was fairly good--this was an interesting take on a rye beer, and one I definitely enjoyed trying.
