The pour is stout black with a 4 mm beige head that left no discernible lacing.
The taste is coffee forward, lots of Hershey’s chocolate and vanilla with a hint of cinnamon. Sweet, but just.
The feel is thicker than expected, but then it has twice the lactose so it makes sense.
OA, toasty enough, but not going to be a favorite for me.

Very sweet but delicious. Absolutely worth trying. The chocolate is subtle and doesn’t overwhelm, let’s the stout come through. Perfect for dessert.

Pours a deep dark brown with a substantial, big bubble head that dissipates over the course of several minutes. Pours thinner than expected, but we shall see if this translates to the mouth.
Despite several flavour add-junks, none of those listed really stands out on the nose. I get some cinnamon, maybe a little cocoa. Mostly it is dark malts that fill the nose. A nice smelling stout with a hint of something extra.
The various flavourings emerge more distinctly on the tongue. Cocoa, cinnamon, vanilla mostly. They work together nicely never hiding the base stout. Sweetness is quite light which is welcome.
Despite the thin appearance, this is medium bodied. Not a ‘mouth-coater’ but style appropriate to be sure.
Overall, I really enjoyed this. A flavoured stout that doesn’t devolve into the sickly sweet pudding of a pastry stout.

The beer can label description “double milk stout brewed with oats, molasses, cocoa, cinnamon, vanilla & lactose”. Brewed 10/26/21. This double milk stout style is new for me. It pours a very dark mahogany with tiny bubble carbonation that produces a thin tan colored head that stayed until the end of the glass. I have a totally stuffed up nose and got a nose full of malts when trying to smell it. The taste is sweet like any milk stout, i taste the molasses more than anything else. It finishes quite dry. It’s pretty okay, I’m really stuffed up and this just seemed like something I could actually taste and I do, just feel like I’m missing the cocoa, cinnamon and vanilla because I’m basically tasting it with my nose plugged. From what I am able to taste it’s good.
