Brewed with lemongrass, this exotic and round IPA is citrus forward and has a light vinous quality to it. It has a subtle spice flavor with lingering notes of dill and thyme. The Sauvignon Blanc characteristics of the sorachi Ace hop and lemongrass combo create a refreshing experience before finishing out with a light chewiness from the touch of wheat added to the boil.

This one pours almost like a Hazy right out of the can. Once the head settles in, it’s about a half-finger around the inside of the glass.
The nose isn’t overly hop-forward; it’s pretty mellow for a DIPA. (Unless it’s due to me trashing my senses with the Downunderstruck I had before this!)
Definitely doesn’t taste like a traditional DIPA either. As the notes read, it’s brewed with lemongrass, and that really leads the way. It’s pretty much all I get from each sip, but it is a pleasant enough citrusy sipper.
