Appearance: a deep brown almost black and opaque. two fingers of a frothy head that hang around for a while
Smell: sweet lager yeast and roasted malts. not very strong and a little odd
Taste: starts off like a mexican lager, and moves into a light creamy porter/stout. weird combination of sweet and bitter with little to no line separating the two.
Mouthfeel: very light, almost water, feels very creamy but ends up leaving a bitter taste
Overall: kind of an odd one to me. i've really enjoyed some of arbor brewing's takes on lagers but this one just doesn't due it for me. its covering to many angles, a mexican lager, a light beer, a dark lager. maybe the complexity should be cut back for a little bit more focus
