Cloudy gold-tan color. The head very quickly collapsed into a few patches of bubbles. Moderate flow of mixed bubble sizes. Left no lacing.
Strong fuzzy peach candy scent mixed with a light floral perfume. Has a hint of something funky and sour. The overall impression is of artificial flavoring. This is trying way too hard to be peach.
Funky peach flavor edging towards tart with a little bit of sugar. Some malt pops out as it warms up. The aftertaste starts mostly malty and ends up with the flavor of peach flesh right at the pit and some tart citron. The flavor doesn't come across as strongly artificial as the scent does.
Starts out very frothy, but loses much of its carbonation before the end of the glass. Slight tongue tingling.
The label says this is made with peach, but it comes across as an artificial flavoring added after the brewing is complete. There is a nice tart level, but the peach makes it hard to taste anything contributed by the natural sour process. This is the only one of the 4 in the mix pack that I wouldn't like to have again.
