Cloudy copper-tan color. The head very quickly collapsed into a few bubbles. Moderate flow of tiny bubbles. Left no lacing.
First sniff is of light malt with a bit of strawberry. The second sniff is strong mint. Afterwards the scent is a blend of the three. Swirling the glass added a light funk, almost a barnyard, to the original scent.
Flavor starts with the light malt and slightly sweet strawberry. A tart flavor joins in after a bit and the mint slowly shows up. The mint really kicks in for the aftertaste, as the other flavors fade away. The dominant flavor is the malt, making sure that this sits firmly in the beer camp instead of a cooler.
Slight tongue tingling. Evolves into a light foam. Light body.
Much lighter strawberry than Fruli, which I always found too strong. I was concerned that the mint would overwhelm the flavor, but they have managed to find a level that I think works, although some people would still find it too much given the light malt base.
