Deep bourbon color. No discernible hop characteristics: sweet as Belgian candi sugar. A smokehouse aroma wafts out of the glass from a distance.

Raw smoke overpowers any flavors hiding in there. It's like drinking a mouthful of hickory BBQ wood chips. Those lines are going to need extra scrubbing.

This beer has been on tap for three full months, according to the chalkboard. Need to nickel-pint this, or otherwise dump it.

God forgive me, this was the first beer I've sent back in over 10 years.

This beer had a nice color, but a mediocre head and retention

Smell is very malty. A nice caramel malt smell comes out on the nose.

Taste is one dimensional, but pleasant. Caramel malts come out, Very slight hop bitterness. Basically, just a sweet malty beer.

Mouthfeel is very thick in the mouth. This beer clings very well.

Drinkability is nice. This is a very decent beer.
