Opaque black stout, with a tight white head. Long lace legs. No detectable aromas.
The first things to hit me were its watery body, and over-carbonation. Its roasted coffee flavor sounds a single note throughout. The lack of base grain is revealed in its advertised 4.5% ABV.
"Blackout" Stout? Really? Why, because the two words rhyme? Why not "DWI stout?" Or, "Hold My Hair While I Puke" Stout? I feel doubly sorry for someone who would choke down enough of this recipe to induce a blackout.

Decent initial head with nice black color. Head fades fast and retention becomes nothing half way through.
Smell is of roasted chocolate malts. Hops are faint in the backround.
Taste is a little bit weak. Roasted malt characteristics aren't very pronounced and hop bitterness is weak. Kind of dumbed down for a stout.
Mouthfeel. Not Horribly bad, but sort of watery on the finish. Decent upfront, but really watery at the end.
Not a bad beer, I could have a couple of these. Not a lot going on, but easy to drink.
