Screw-cap growler received via Nice Jugs GIF by jasonjlewis. Thanks for the opportunity.

Poured into an imperial pint glass, formed a 1/4" beige head over the clear dark copper brew. Head fades pretty quickly down to a layer of swirl, with ample lasting lace. Aroma is malty, somewhat fruity, with a light hops character. Taste is balanced but substantial, with ample grain and hops bitterness, but nothing in excess. Mouthfeel is smooth, and drinkability is nice. Finishing this growler shouldn't be a problem.

Really a great beer. The best I've ever had at Triple J's. One of the better apas that I've ever had period. Head clings to the glass the whole way down. Nice full amber color.

Smell is of piney and earthy hops. Very inticing.

Taste is of light caramel malts with a very nice hop backbone. Not dry hopped as much as the previous APA. Very smooth.

Mouthfeel and drinkability are awesome as well. This beer clings well to the palate. I had to buy a growler after I had this beer. It's just that good. I hope they brew this more often.

This brew master falls short sometimes on other styles. But I liked his pale ales and his rye pale ale. Can't wait to try his IPA. He nails pale ales.
