Golden color in the pint shaker. Not much foam from the start. On tap at the brewpub in downtown Lubbock. Fairly flat on the tongue.
Pleasant beery taste with a European hoppy tang. Nice use of floral hops. Brewer says this has 37 IBUs. A pretty good Pilsener flavor but it lacks the spritzy mouthfeel. Light bodied. Slightly tangy with a hoppy spiciness, though modest. Acceptable quaff, though of no distinction, and certainly not an "Imperial" in the usual use of the term. No apparent bitterness at the finish.
