On tap at Ashley’s. Pours black with dark brown head and typical RIS lacing. Aroma is roasty with raisin, molasses, wood, and citrus. Taste is sweet malts, molasses, dark fruit, esters, orange. Full bodied, chewy mouthfeel, low carbonation, boozy finish.

Poured into a snifter at Ashley's a deep roasted walnut brown with a creamy light beige head that left nice lacing as it settled.Aromas of roasted nuts, chocolate, molasses, and big herbal/citric hops in the back end, alot going on.Chocolate and molasses dominate the flavor profile upfront with fuity tones midway ending with a big shot of pithy hops.Just a tad light in the feel but a really nice beer with a complex flavor profile.
