It's hard to improve on something with a well-deserved name like Stone Delicious IPA… unless of course you could double the Deliciousness. We’re talking serious depth of flavor and an explosive aroma of lemon & tropical fruit from Centennial and Amarillo hops, all with less bitterness than a typical Double IPA. The result is extra fruity, extra satisfying and extra Delicious.

Clear, amber color with a nice‑looking white head. The aroma is driven by pine and caramel malt, creating a classic, slightly resinous profile. The flavor follows suit: hoppy and assertive, supported by a solid malty backbone that keeps everything grounded. A good, straightforward beer—enjoyable, though not particularly memorable.

Dark orange-amber brew with plenty of foam in the Timmermans goblet. Aromatic with orange and peach. Sharp and spritzy on the tongue. Quite sweet and bitter. Woody and juicy. Orange taste is quite strong. I'd rather have an Olde English 800 and add a splash of this stuff to give it some hops. Totally over the top, but it does set a new bar for gas station beers. From the 19.2 can purchased against my better judgement.

Poured from a 19.2oz stovepipe can into a Waterford IPA glass. Pours a darker burnt orange to lighter amber with a little over two fingers of white foam head. Aromas of malt, pine and light citrus. This one is a little juicier in flavor than in smell. Pine and slightly bitter hops in the finish. Silky smooth and full mouthfeel. Crisp when cold but as it warms up it becomes malty and thick in all the best ways. This one is good.

Poured a seethru orangish-gold with solid one-finger head that stuck around. Nice aroma of citrus and pine with notes of tropical fruit. Smooth, medium body, slightly creamy, has a mild hoppy resin taste with some grapefruit and pine. Good balance, nice finish, easy to drink.

All the Delicous series taste of whole fruit, apples, and bring a kind of fall orchard freshness - Stone is a one of one.
a) Half amber, half way to a Bastard
s) aroma of lemon & tropical fruit from Centennial and Amarillo hops
t) Extra fruity, long flavor profile, some saplike essence along with.the ABV
.... so strong, I could not finish the review but the feel is exquisite.

Nicely bitter double IPA, a refreshing find in a field of overly sweet brews. Thick luscious head and deep amber color. Full and silky mouth feel. High ABV but doesn't taste overly alcoholic.

Amber gold with a substantial and persistent head. Oddly, the nose is lacking in hop scent, just some sweet malt. Bracingly dry/bitter taste with a large malt backbone, with light fruity esters. This is a sipping beer, as it's quite strong and full-bodied but the alcohol heat is kept in check. Good beer to savor slowly.

Stone Delicious Double IPA has a very thick, ivory head and a clear, bubbly gold appearance, with heavy lacing. The aroma is of piney hop resins and white bread crust. It has a similar flavor, with somewhat subdued bitterness. Stone Delicious Double IPA has a high-medium body and a mostly-dry finish.

Clear amber with a large, off white head and plenty of lacing. A light spicy touch in the aroma before citrus and tropical fruit elements gain control. Fruit inspired flavor with a strong malt backbone. Sweetness becomes more evident in the aftertaste. Can feel the strength but not enough to be overpowering.

I purchased a tall can of this from a local store. It smells extremely hoppy, and I smell little to no malt. My first sip is greeted with an intense, sweet, fruity hop blast, decent carbonation, and a nice alcoholic warmth. It also has this sorta “spicy”, rich ale taste that is both pretty typical and very enjoyable. This is clearly highly hopped but also oddly forgiving. Honestly, this stuff is yummy. Apparently, this is marketed as having less bitterness than a typical double IPA. I agree that it is less bitter. Knowing Stone, I assumed this was gonna be some hyperaggressive west coast style assault on my tongue when I grabbed it. Even though it wasn’t what I was expecting, I still throughly enjoyed it.

This beer has a classic IPA color and a nice foamy head that stays up almost golden color head on. It smells like sweet molasses with herbal hint, has a bittersweet aftertaste with a little bit of taffy.
