The most dangerous beer I've ever had, for certain. The flavor and nose is almost all milk chocolate and raspberry. Which wouldn't be so dangerous if it weren't for the fact that it's actually 16% abv. Drank in a snifter in Dark Horse in May. Wonderful composition. Not sure how many of these I could get through.

On tap at Crunchy's. From notes.

Pour is black with a faint reddish hue. Smell is massive dark bittersweet chocolate and tons of raspberry. Definitely smells like dessert. Taste starts out with intense dark chocolate, after which the raspberries come through. Raspberries add a slight tartness to the bittersweet chocolate. The finish is mostly chocolate. There is a faint alcohol presence, but surprisingly subtle for the abv. Medium mouthfeel, actually a little on the thin side. Glad I got to try this one. Nice flavor combination with less aggressive alcohol than I would have expected.

Had this on tap at Dark Horse Brewing Co

Color: Oh.My.Goodness. Dark black with a medium-tan head. Held up to the light; dark raspberry.

Smell: Pure dark chocolate raspberry.

Taste: Chocolate malt to raspberries. Back and forth as it lingers on the palate. In around 30 seconds, raspberry gently wins the tug of war, but it leaves a very clean raspberry chocolate-malt taste.

Please someone give me a swimming pool of this.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub in a snifter.

A - Pours pitch black with a finger or so of tan head. Excellent looking beer.

S - Smell is almost pure raspberry up front followed by very subtle hints of malt. Also pick up a very little bit of dark chocolate behind it all.

T - Taste is pretty consistent with the nose. The raspberry really dominates this beer but in a good way. The malt comes through much more in the finish.

M - Mouthfeel is very nice, very little burn for a 16% beer. Fairly smooth as well.

O - Overall a very good beer. Glad to try it!

Tap at Dark Horse. Very dark brown pour, nicely layered head light tan to light brown. Laces nicely.

Some roast and dark chocolate. Good dose of red fruit/raspberry.

Pretty sharp red fruit and raspberry up front. Roast and some chocolates. More roast, cocoa and coffee in the finish. Definetely improved as it warmed.

Solid medium body, carbonation keeps it from beeing sticky. No alcohol notes at all. Nice big sipper.

Kind of a Kunhen Raspberry Icebock light. Though not much ligher in abv.

Had on tap at the brewery. This was their black beer with raspberries added then frozen.

A: Pours a murky black with two fingers of brown head.

S: Huge raspberry aroma with a slight amout of malt.

T: Lots of raspberry upfront with a small amount of roasted malt. A hint of chocolate. I don't pick up any hops. Bitter chocolate well into the finish. Slight medicinal aftertaste from the raspberries. I would have liked a little more beer flavor.

M: Not as thick as expected. Medium mouthfeel.

D: At 16% you can't drink very many.
