Somehow this ended up on tap up in Richmond, VA. Poured a blackish body with two finger head that was almost brown with lace on top of a strong blueberry aroma, so it certainly isn't lacking in the blueberry department. The beer itself is a little muddled, as there isn't too much balance and I either get a real dry, almost harsh roasted malt/coffeesque taste or a cloying, blueberry sweetness that gets tiresome as you drink. I didn't mind this beer but it's a little off and I found the blueberry taste to be mostly overpowered.

Interesting one-off (?). Poured cold and honey'd amber from the tap at the brewery to a standard pint with a full finger, long lasting, creamy tan head with good retention and a full sheet of lace to the rim.

Subtle berries in the nose.

More subtle berries upon the first sip and sweet honey following up, wee bit of bitter after.

Medium bodied, creamy smooth.

Very drinkable, great beer.
