A: Essentially black and opaque body is topped by a very good tan head.
This is a very satisfying BBL RIS, with plenty of bourbon flavor and aroma, but not so much as to completely overpower the dark roasted malts. Light wood (barrel) and black coffee flavors and faint toffee and vanilla. Medium-full body and medium-light carbonation. Very nice, lingering aftertaste,. Excellent bitter/sweet balance.
O: hard to find fault with this except that it does lack some complexity and some will desire a fuller body.
