[Appearance: 4.0] This beer is a thick yellow-orange one that develops a fluffy, creamy, rocky pale head that rises higher up to one finger with very good retention while dropping down chunky lacing in plenty.
[Aroma: 4.25] This one smells like raspberries by the bushel. There's just a little tartness but plenty of juicy sweetness that steals the show. The berries are entirely real, fresh and ripe. It's supported by a backbone of earthy quality that acts in complementary fashion to the fruit. Rye isn't hard or spicy, detracting nothing but adding depth.
[Flavor: 4.0] The raspberry taste is more tart then sweet on the tongue and transitions in the middle to the earthy support. There's no hard and biting spiciness from the rye, but enough to add character.
[Mouthfeel: 4.25] It's fluffy with a medium body, but light enough to be refreshing while holding up the flavor. It's crisp and creamy from beginning to end, first sip to last, with lots of smoothness as well as movement on the palate.
