On tap @ the brewpub.
Amber with orange-y hues. Amazing white foaming lace, that drops to a retaining wisp. Grain and a slight herbal hop character in the nose, with mild esters poking around. Firm, full malt body. Quite fruity, with notes of floral, mustiness, grain tannins and a big toasty / bready character.
A solid offering from Seven Barrels.

On tap in a pint glass. Faint haze on an orange amber hue, bubbly lacing sticks to the glass well. Toasted biscuity aroma, mild hops and yeast in the back of the nose. Very smooth yet gentle mouth feel, moderate carbonation. Heavy hand of toasted malt goes well with a solid hop character that dons a mild bitterness. Lots of hop flavor middle to end that mixes well with the fruity yeast character.
A very drinkable ale ... nice to see a good stab at the ESB style.
