Poured a huge (even by Hefe Weizen standards) bright white head that popped along to a thin film. Potent aroma is full of bubble gum and banana. I guess I did not swirl hard enough because I got giant yeast bombs when I poured that last bit of beer. Most of the yeast settled to the bottom of the hazy apricot colored beer, but particles the size of sand remained in suspension. Mouthfeel is light and soft. Flavor is mainly bubble gum and bread dough, but there is also a citrus twang and a light hop bite towards the finish. The hops ruin the sweet doughy flavor in my opinion, and I can not imagine why they are noticable. The beer smells amazing, but the other characteristics are only average. I hope to travel to the brewery in the next few weeks, and I hope that it will be better on tap.
