Definitely mislabeled as a "Helles" on BA.This should be in the Amber/Vienna Lager category.
The Beer itself is rock solid with a really nice caramell-y Malt Base.

On-tap at Nurnberger Alm in its branded half-liter mug. On to the beer:

Helles or dunkel? It's dark amber colored with orange hues. An inch of creamy head sits on top, retaining in solid fashion. The nose is toasty and a little fruity, with notes of vague minerals. Taste is toasty as well, but with some toffee shaving. More toast comes to play. Dabs of caramel are introduced to the sequence. It's medium bodied and moderate carbonation finish the show. It'll do.

A - medium brown with a hint of amber, cloudy, looks a little like a dunkelweiss, head is a little thin

S - malty smell with a hint of licorice

T - citrus flavor, aftertaste is good, even though citrus is dominating, distinct German flavor is still evident

M - smooth, not much carbonation, coats mouth, taste stays around

D - refreshing, not heavy even though full flavored

I tasted at Huber Haus in Omaha during their Fass Fest. It was one of the best beers of the night.

On cask at Max's for their German beer fest

Mildly hazy amber with a thin, tan head . Good retention, and gorgeous lacework make for a attractive beer. The nose is complex with a blend of smoke and spices (nutmeg and mace) and is very clean. The classic German lager character is present, and a mild yeasty character is present. Mildly hoppy with a blend of grassy and lemony hop character. The beer is medium in body (decoction mashed?) with a complex blend of wheat, spices and a touch of smoke. Clean with a mild yeast character and a mild hop character that's almost Czech in style. Long finish with an earthy hop bitterness and mild spiciness, and the soft carbonation works wonderfully with this beer. Incredibly drinkable!

Out of gravity feed wooden cask at Max's the other day. The beer of the event for me, and perhaps one of the finest German beers I've ever tasted.

The beer pours a hazy cherry peach color with OK head retention and lacing. The nose on this beer is just wonderful, with hints of sweet malt, citrus and orange cool-aide. In combination it's quite remarkable. On the palate this beer is just a joy to drink, all the more so out of the cask. Flavors on the palate completely replicate the nose, but the beer is just so smooth and long on the finish.... amazing. Despite all the flavor, this beer has almost a weightless quality to it on the palate. It's so light and refreshing and seems to just glide down your throat. Drinkability is just exceptional; I feel as if I could drink this forever.

All this flavor in a 4.8% package. Just amazing. Impressive.
