22oz bottle poured into a pint glass
A: Slightly hazy orange with a one finger head
S: Pleasant citrus/vanilla mix reminiscent of a creamsicle
T: Matches the nose, adds a bit if floral. The flavor of the vanilla is very pure
M: Smooth, almost a bit creamy but with a touch of hop bitterness
O: Tasty addition to a solid IPA that works really well

On tap at CBC 2016. Dark caramel with a thin beige head. Caramel, peppermint, butter, vanilla. Full bodied with a sweet aftertaste.

It's a shame I'll never get to revisit and review this one again--the new recipe is Killa Vanilla. Infusion C was more labor intensive, but worth it! This was so full of a creamy natural vanilla bean that when paired with the orange and spicy dank elements of the base, it made for a real treat.

When I first had a vanilla IPA, I didn't expect it to be such a good combination, but it really is and this beer is a good example. The vanilla is very present in the aroma along with the floral hops and also in the taste along with some tropical fruit, followed by pretty intense bitterness. Body feels a bit more viscous than a regular IPA. Overall I really enjoyed this one.

8oz pour into nonic glass at HF tasting room.
Slightly hazy, light orange liquid, white, tight bubbles, lace.
Wonderful aroma of citra hops and vanilla. Really could stick the nose in this all day. The tropical fruits are fresh and tangy, balanced by the vanilla which provides a nice counter but not over the top.
The flavor is such a nice mix of the citra hops: tropical fruits, smooth hop bitterness; and the vanilla, a unique combo that really lends itself to the overall fantastic flavor.
Medium body, alcohol hidden, smooth, well carbonated.
This is a winner. The vanilla does not overwhelm but enhances the awesome base brew. Fred is doing some nice things with this tower series.
