Picked the bomber up in Mansfield, Ohio back in early October of 2016. No bottling or best-by dating on the bottle...
Dark, golden body; clear; thick, frothy head; globs of foam adhering to the glass. Dull pine and citrus rind scent; caramel malt sweetness; some weedy pungency. Lollipop like sweetness offset with a biting hop bitterness; borderline acetone notes. Heavy body; lots of residual sugars.
Not one of the better DIPAs I've encountered and a rather rare (relative) dud from Hoppin' Frog. And who knows, without any indication of the brewing and bottling times (plus my three month delay in tasting this beer) may have greatly degraded the overall impressions.

Dark orange, moderate to small white fizzy head
Good for What Ales You is just dank, bitter, and a bit boozy.
I'm sure the doc that collaborated with Frog on this one was quite happy, as there are plenty of people that just can not get enough dank hop bitterness in their beers, but this one is just too much for me.
It was nice to get it so fresh and dank, but the bitterness and booziness is over the top.
