Dark brown with a fizzy, dark tan head that dies to a very thin ring.
I smell tart apple, blueberry, and a little rum or brandy.
Lots of nutty roastiness is up front in flavor, but it quickly becomes more tart after the first swallow, with green apple, green grape, and white wine. A little acidic.
Less body for a Frog brew, medium thin, with a semi fizzy and wet middle, but semi-dry finish.

Having this almost two years later, it seems with time the tartness, while still there, mellows out quite a bit and smokey chocolateyness increases exponentially. It's like a chocolate lava cake with a bit of a balsamic and strawberry drizzle.
