Clear yet viscous acorn reddish-orange, much like an Old Fashioned, with very minimal head that dies to a syrupy surface. The aroma and flavor are also like a cocktail, but more in the whiskey sour vein, with notes of lemon, whiskey, caramel, toffee and toasted graham.
It's a punch to the mouth at first, to be sure, but also, quite a unique sipping experience. That said, it is a style unto itself, so rating it is pretty difficult, but if you're going to compete in the Shandy+Barleywine field, here's your current bar XD
