Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a hazy golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of citrus, tropical fruits. Taste is hoppy, citrus, some mango, moderate to significant bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

16oz can served in a milkshake pilsner glass. Born on Jan 15, 2021.
Appearance: Translucent, but approaching opaque amber-orange color. Nicely thick off-white head. Lots of strands of persistent lacing.
Smell: Lots of fresh cut orange and tropical fruit.
Taste: Bitter citrus - quite hoppy. Grapefruit and orange. Bready malt underneath it all which is just barely notable as the hops dominate. The finish is mostly grapefruit hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Quite smooth, excellent thickness. Some stickiness on the teeth. Mild carbonation.
Overall / Drinkability: This does fit the NEIPA style, and it's on the bitter edge of that style, but it works. Nicely hoppy, and pleasant to sip and savor. Well done.

L: Caramel yellow, cloudy, frothy.
S: Lovely. Perhaps one of the best. Big notes of tropical stonefruit that you would expect from a New England IPA.
T: Good hops--No extract--Quality leafy notes. The brewer is in tune with his ingredients. It's hardly bitter, IPA doesn't have to taste bad.
F: Impeccably drinkable. Almost nothing on the residual.
O: There's a spot in my cooler for Hoppin' Frog Brewery...

1 PINT can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours hazy and an orangish hue. Chunks of yeast settle at the bottom of my glass. It is topped with a couple inches of tan head that leaves spotty lacing.
It has a grassy aroma with some medicinal characteristics.
The taste starts with barnyard grass. A medicinal flavor grows gradually. There is a mild bitterness.
Medium bodied with a slightly chalky mouthfeel
This is not my jam. I do not dig it. The medicinal and grassy aspects are ok but not a favorite.

This is actually hazy, lightly so, but it remains in suspension, and is almost fully opaque. It's glowing yellow-orange with a moderate white foam that settles to a persistent creamy white blanket leaving spongy lace.
The fluffy round medium body still features some bitter woody pine and lightly toasted malt with a little sharp rindy acidity, but it also has a little herbal tropical juiciness like mango before coming to a clean, paper dry finish.
They're really on the right track now, and if not for so much hesitance to really dive into the deep end of NE style IPA, they'd have been nailing this for a while now.
