A great cake stout with strawberry and cocoa added, creating an awesome chocolate covered strawberry flavor, and one decadent dessert beer!

12oz can from Tavour. Dark brown pour, syrupy, tiny ring of beige head. Aroma is strawberry-ish, but doesn't seem like real fruit to me. Taste is that same strawberry flavoring with notes of chocolate.

8 ball black with almost no head.
Smell has me thinking of strawberry toast--not that I've ever had it, if it's even a thing--and even Frankenberry!
Taste is much more chocolatey, and even thick up front, but then that unique toastiness does emerge here as well. The exhale is where it comes together, really expressing as chocolate covered strawberry with a touch of vanilla, and even a hint of gooey cherry cordial with a touch of bitter cacao.
The thickness slickens out to a thinner, even crisp finish.
This was v2, if that makes a difference. And it was way better than the strawberry BORIS Evolutions. But what matters most is enjoying this draft at a friends & family soft re-opening on the very same day we are returning from vacation and celebrating a birthday. I'm so glad to be back here, and especially to be able to serendipitously celebrate this all at once!
