Clear light brown to burnt amber with a short khaki head settling to a persistent film.
Taste is like a brown lager, as it is primarily featuring mild toasted malt that's a little bready and a little tangy with floral yet earthy hops. A bit of a nutty sting comes out on the round, semi-wet swallow, while faint hints of citrus emerge on the nose at second whiff, with an accenting touch of anise.
It's like a fall evening brew, best enjoyed in the woods.
