Slightly foggy pale gummy bear yellow with a moderate porcelain white head that settles to a pillowy, creamy white blanket that retains well, leaving a few wavy arms of lace on the glass.
This introduces itself with an unusual toastiness that combines with lightly resinous hops to create an impression that almost comes across as plastic. There might have been a parallel hint of this in Ramp Down, but it's a lot more apparent here, ultimately bringing the overall experience down. While there's a lightly cologne-esque herbal quality behind it, along with a touch of oyster cracker, it's also got some vegetal notes.
Overall bitter, the body starts moderate and fluffy, but recedes to a lighter heft with a crisply fine yet soft fizz, finishing just semi-dry, and even a little numbing. Aside from the odd flavor at the front end, which does seem to slowly fade over a session, it's not really got a ton of discernible character otherwise.
