From the 8.45 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This monster brew pours a chill hazed golden with a modest head of
white foam that settles to a razor thin ring. Nose of cereal grains,
breaded malts, and spicy booze dashed with lager funk. Flavors
follow the nose with corn and grain notes awash in honey sweet malt
and phenol laden spicy booze with breaded malts and a touch of lager funk.
Mouth feel is medium light, light carbonation, very warming, and finishing
moderately dry.
Of note apple nuances come through with warmth reminding me of the
Effin and Fuggin brews from Lithuania....but better.
Overall, a decent little brew and really unique. Like a hybrid strong
Belgian golden.....I can't feel my face.....hmmm.
Cheers

cool packaging on this little can, wild beer, truly insane, been int he beer fridge awhile intimidating me, finally cut into it last night as a final final before bed with my wife. a super strong lager that almost reads austrian and ancient to me, like samichlaus, that had to be what they were going for with this one right? blonde to honey colored, rather viscous and without much head but there is a bit of carbonation keeping it from being totally still, it looks its size though, even with the pale color. the aroma is sweet like rock candy, not really as malty as expected for something this strong, i wonder if they added some non grain sugar to this to get the gravity up. slightly herbal but not hoppy, bitter a little bit, almost medicinal, sugary too though, shockingly it doesnt smell over the top on the alcohol, even though i know it is. the flavor is crazy, the first three quarters of it are just like the nose, honey sweetness with some cereal intensity, but then all of a sudden it gets harsh and hot on the tongue, sharp and almost poisonous to me, noxiously strong, the alcohol totally overwhelms, burns the tongue, and it does come across like some kind of medicine, a tincture or something, bitter and sweet at the same time, perhaps a little floral, minerals are there, the body is palate coating, and the throat burn is real. there is light oxidation here, some european character, some flavor from the lager yeast too, a little stressed i assume, so unconventional, but again it does remind me of samichlaus, just not quite as refined and dialed in, same concept. i have to respect the effort, but a little of this is plenty, smart call with the tiny cans. novelty level stuff, but well done for what it is. always good to drink beer from these guys, theyve been intriguing me for a long time now!

8.45 ounce can, best by MAY 6 2024 stamped on the bottom of the can. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a not quite clear not quite cloudy dark gold color with about a half inch off-white head that stayed around for a little bit. The brew smells like bready malt, corn, and some earthy hops. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some toffee and booziness noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit coating and syrupy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a decent enough brew overall, certainly worth a try!

Thanks to Ozzylizard for this one, from his NBS BIF #14 box. 12oz can (dated 6/17/21) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a very hazy dark orange color with 1/4 inch of white head that quickly dissipated and very light lacing.
Mildly sweet grains at the front of the nose, followed by a bit of alcohol, and some floral and citrusy hops.
Very similar on the tongue, with the alcohol being dominant, and the hops being a bit more floral.
The body was a bit on the full side of medium, mostly smooth, and had a finish that was a bit sweet and ruled by alcohol heat that lingered.
Drinkability was good, I'd drink another, but probably not two-in-a-row.
Overall, a pretty solid, and different, take on a malt liquor. Worth a shot if you see it.

Clear dark gold with a thin khaki ring.
A little syrupy at first, it exudes vibes similar to what a lighter Plum Tuckered Out might, with these sort of toffee and caramel characteristics, but not quite that heavy. There's a touch of Corn Pops, but it's obviously more assertive, as the exhale definitely brings up the heat, tingling the tongue after the semi-sticky swallow.
Its fine carbonation expands to a slightly frothier, rounder feel, where a sort of a melon rind note surfaces.
Weirdly impossible to describe, it's kind of like a high (mid?) brow malt liquor.
