Hazier than the Experimental IPA next to it, it's a dark maize color with a tall puffy white cappuccino foam that sticks to the edges in fuzzy lace.
More toasty, dank and spicy than the IPA, it's even cannabic and peppery, especially on the nose.
On the palate, it's light in body, but quite frothy, adding a touch of biscuity shortbread before finishing lightly paper dry. However, it actually becomes more perceptibly juicier after taking a sip from the tongue thrasher that is Mean Manalishi. This helps interpret it as far more New Englandy and also a bit like Monkish.
