Glossy black with a short but persistent tan head settling to a creamy film and rounded collar.
This actually seems hoppier than BORIS, closer to DORIS, as fiery pine is amped up by a tad more substantial barrel presence than their typical barrel aged work. Fairly warmingly boozy, this is accented by notes of licorice, anise and heavy roast. It reminds me of a classic Stone RIS.
The silky medium body has a soft froth that's cut by a harsh heat before coming to a burning, semi-dry finish.
