Taster at HF taproom. Light copper pour, patchy head, streaky lacing. Aroma is malty, tannic, hoppy. Taste begins with a nice bitter hoppiness, malts, leather, pine.

Mildly foggy amber with a tall khaki foam that takes its time to settle down.
This one is like a more aggressive Gangster: slightly maltier, less fruity and definitely more piney. It’s resinous and a little reminiscent of Stone without bleeding my tongue dry.
The medium body has a soft crispness and finishes tingly semi-dry.
I’d love to see more Ohio beers utilize all local ingredients. It suddenly strikes me how few Ohio breweries do this, whereas I've run into several examples in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota, whether it be malt, hops or most especially fruit.
