Slightly less opaque than No. 1, but still quite hazy, this one is the opposite color of the label, just as the first was as well, appearing as pastel reddish-pink as the fruit purees allow nary a head to speak of.
Man does this bring me all the way back to my first taste of J. Wakefield's DFPF or what?! A surprisingly prickly but pleasantly refreshing tartness delivers explosive, almost peppery passion fruit with a backing melony yet strawberry-esque quality perhaps coming from the dragon fruit and culture interplay.
While certainly more tart than the ultra thick Smooch No. 1, this is more in the traditional Berliner vein, and as such a little less intense with the viscosity, but in no way too acidic at all, ultimately presenting this tropical bomb as more drinkable because of it.
