Here's why I'm not a huge fan:
I don't get a peanut butter, chocolate, or coffee flavor. What I get is crème brûlée. (Yes, this was a copy paste. I don't have all those accent marks memorized.)
So what's the problem with crème brûlée? Nothing, except that according to my taste buds, the line between crème brûlée and buttered popcorn is a very fine line indeed. So instead of getting the flavor listed on the can, or even the taste of a classic French dessert, I've got a can of Jiffy Pop.
It's probably just me.

Infusion A from Hopping Frog was my all time favorite hoping this is pretty much the same beer. OG is 6.2% this is 6.6% into a pint glass. Fukin sexy look porter 1/2 inch of deep mocha foam and pitch black goodness for under 7% good looking body. Sweet peanuts in the nose, bakers chocolate cocoa nibs toasted malts. If its not too bitter this might be the same stuff, Little to no bitterness another reviewer said a bit more sharper coffee but I really can't taste it with all the balanced cocoa and sweet chocolate tones it taste of fairly balanced harmony. Overall I will defiantly to pick up a six pack of this stuff next time I am in the area. While the original recipe may have changed this stuff to me is almost as good!

Poured room temp from a can into a 16oz pint glass.
Appearance is ruby brown with a 2-finger khaki head. Lacing is evident along the glass.
Aroma is roasted peanuts, peanut butter, cocoa, coffee, toasted malt.
Taste follows the nose with roasted peanuts/peanut butter up front, milk chocolate, coffee.
Mouthfeel is medium full and creamy smooth. Sweet but not overbearing with some subtle bitterness balancing things out.
Overall, this is a yummy porter and very enjoyable if you like this style. Would purchase again.

Appearance starts promising, as the delectably puffy, chocolate souffle-like head of tan foam entices over its stark black body.
But is Infusion A really back? Not quite...
This is a little sharper and more bitter of a dustier sort of coffee, even emulating a little heat to it despite still being sub-7%, (though it's worth noting that is a little higher than Infusion A was). The body also seems a little thinner, yet punchier, while the peanut butter flavor itself is lacking.
We didn't know what we had until it was gone! Well actually, we did, we always appreciated Infusion A with full love, and we still miss that goofy "temporary" label!
